MANGO GRAHAM REFRIGERATOR CAKE


Ingredients:
·         2 packs of graham crackers.
·         4 large mangoes, seeds removed. (remove the skins and then slice)
·         1 can condensed milk
·         2 packs all purpose cream

Procedure:
1.   In a blender, process mango, condensed milk and all purpose cream until blended. Set aside

2.   Chill it for a while in the fridge for at least 30 mins, or you can leave it over night in the fridge.  (Its chilled so that when you layer it later with the graham, the crackers wont float. )

3.   Slice mangoes into thin wedges and set it aside.

4.   Use whatever container/bowl you prefer either plastic, glass, or aluminum as long as it has a flat bottom.

5.   Place a layer of graham crackers at the bottom.

6.   Pour a layer of the chilled cream you prepared earlier.

7.   Place a layer of the mangoes.

8.   Repeat steps 4-6 ending with the cream on the top.

9.   Top with mango slices or design the top layer to how ever you want.

10.         Store in refrigerator and chill it overnight. Serve it cold.



Chicken with Broccoli



Ingredients

§  I kl chicken fillet, thinly sliced
§  1 head broccoli, chopped into florets
§  3 tablespoons oyster sauce
§  3 tablespoon soy sauce
§  1 chicken cube
§  3/4 cup water
§  2 teaspoons minced garlic
§  1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
§  2 tablespoons cooking oil
§  1 teaspoon sugar
§  Salt and pepper to taste

 

Cooking Procedure

1.       Heat the cooking oil in a wok.
2.       When the oil becomes hot, put-in the chicken. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
3.       Add the garlic. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
4.       Pour-in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir.
5.       Add the water and chicken cube. Let boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
6.       Put-in the broccoli. Cook for 2 minutes.
7.       Pour-in the water with cornstarch.
8.       Add sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir.
9.       Transfer to a serving plate. Serve.
10.   Share and enjoy!

Ginataang Hipon sa Kalabasa (Shrimp in Coconut Milk & Squash)



INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 lbs shrimps
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1/2 kalabasa (squash), chunks
  • 20 strands long beans, cut into 3 inch long
  • 1 can (13.5oz/400ml) coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp patis (fish sauce)
2-3 pcs siling labuyo / Chili pepper  (optional)

HOW TO COOK GINATAANG HIPON

  • In a pan or wok, saute galic and onion. Cook until onion becomes translucent.
  • Add squash and long beans. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. 
  • Add the water. Simmer until squash is half cooked.
  • Add coconut milk and fish sauce. Cook for few minutes. Let it boil.
  • Add shrimps. Simmer for 15-10 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked. Add the chili pepper (optional)
Serve hot. Enjoy!

Bistek Tagalog


Ingredients
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 piece lemon or 3 pieces calamansi
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 large onion, sliced into rings
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • salt to taste


Cooking Procedure:

·       Marinade beef in soy sauce, lemon (or calamansi), and ground black pepper for at least 1 hour
·       Heat the cooking oil in a pan then stir fry the onion rings until the texture becomes soft. Set aside
·       In the same pan where the onions were fried, fry the marinated beef (without the marinade) until color turns brown. Set aside
·       Put-in the garlic then saute for a few minutes
·       Pour the marinade and bring to a boil.
·       Put in the fried beef and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is tender. Add water as needed.
·       Add the stir-fried onions and some salt to taste.

·       Serve hot. Share and Enjoy!

Sinigang na Maya-Maya





Mga Sangkap:
  1. 1 kilo Maya-maya (kung malaki i-slice)
  2. Sitaw
  3. Kangkong
  4. Okra
  5. 3 pcs. Siling pang-sigang
  6. 2 pcs. Toamtoes (slice)
  7. 1 large Onion (slice)
  8. 2 thumb size Ginger (slice)
  9. 1 sachet Sinigang Mix
  10. 2 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  11. Salt or patis to taste

Paraan ng pagluluto:
1.  Sa isang kaserola, igisa ang luya, bawang, sibuyas at kamatis sa kaunting mantika.
2.  Lagyan ng nais na dami ng tubig pang-sabaw at hayaang kumulo.
3.   Kapag kumulo na, ilagay ang sitaw, siling pang-sigang at okra.   Takpan at hayaan ng mga 3 minuto.
4.   Ilagay na ang maya-maya at timplahan ng asin o patis.  Hayaang maluto ang isda.
5.   Sunod na ilagay ang sinigang mix.  Tikman at i-adjust ang lasa ng sabaw.
6.   Huling ilagay ang talbos ng kangkong at hayaan pa ng mga 2 minuto.
